Happy International Women’s Day. Thank you to the women who have helped me along the way.

I am happy to share that The Backyard is in the children’s literature section of the Granville County South Branch Library. Thank you Ms. Tina and Granville County South Branch Library.

Thank you to Ms. Rivera-Carrillo and Hillburn Academy for inviting me to career day at Hillburn Academy. This was my first career day as a published author. I read The Backyard to three first grade classes.The students were great and had many questions about Gidget and Tigress. Thank you Hillburn Academy and Ms. Rivera-Carrillo.

Thank you to the Potter family for sharing big brother Cameron reading The Backyard to his twin siblings Olivia and Brooks. It’s always special to me to know children are enjoying reading and reading The Backyard. Thank you Potter family.

Thank you to Dr. Williamson, principal at C. G. Credle Elementary School for inviting me to read to fifty-five first graders at C.G.Credle Elementary school. The students had lots of questions about Gidget and Tigress. I enjoyed reading to them. Thank you Dr. Williamson and C.G.Credle Elementary.
